2007 was a year of many live shows for the Sit and Spin crew.  There were several unforgettable local shows here in Stillwater with Colourmusic, Kunek, Mayola, The Non, The Principalities, and Sherree Chamberlain Band.  But national acts were a bit bloated due to our attendance at Lollapalooza this year where we saw Daft Punk, LCD Soundsystem, Sparklehorse, White Rabbits, Polyphonic Spree, Spoon, The Hold Steady, Modest Mouse, Interpol, Ghostland Observatory, Yo La Tengo, The White Rabbits and many many more.  We’ve also seen Black Tie Dynasty, The Crash That Took Me, Man Man, Darlington, The Old 97’s, Foundry Field Recordings, Aqueduct, Youth Group, Cursive, The Gentleman Auction House, Etc.

2008 will see some great shows as well.  We will see Wilco for the first time EVER and KXZY will finally host a show or two.  One will be March 10 with Gentleman Auction House, Bald Eagle and Witch’s Hat….all of whom are part of the hard working label, Emergency Umbrella Records out of Columbia, MO!

Musically, 2007 delivered too many good albums.  This Podcast features several of our favorite songs of 2007 with an introduction and year-end recap by us and then we just let the music speak for itself.  We hope you enjoy it and we hope you have a great 2008!
