Alicia Keys’ As I Am is phenomenal. You know when you are in church and the pastor is preaching, and it seems that he is all up inside your head? Well, that is how I feel with some of her selections. Her voices seems to take on a different tone on this album. It is much softer at times and then at other times, she smacks you in the face with her power. This is a departure from both of her previous releases. I have to say that this is my second favorite album from her behind Songs in A Minor. The style is more subtle. Overall this album reminds me of Aretha Franklin’s Respect album. The message, the flow, the tone, the feelings behind it are definitely saying something to somebody. I am not trying to mess with Alicia right now.

Before I can go on with this post, I have to keep it real ... it was about 2:00am when I was recording this show and it is apparent. I had to go back and edit things out and usually, I try to do my shows in one shot because I just don't have the time to go back and edit things. Well, I didn't really have a choice. It was either that or redo the whole show all together. In hindsight, I probably should have done just that.

I think I should have left the originally show and give you guys a good laugh, but I couldn't go out like that. Anyway, here is my very superficial take on Vibe's Top 25 Sexiest. Believe me, it is superficial even for Parlez Entertainment. Still, you just might get a kick out of it.

Idris Elba, one of the few males, made the list, and he should have been a lot higher in my opinion. I am a little biased because, I am crushing on him but still.Jennifer Hudson is also on the list with a hot mama picture. She looks gorgeous and should have been higher. Again, I am definitely biased because I'm rooting for the thick sisters.

Before you listen to the show, there's one last thing ... at times, I sound like I am feeling the ladies a little too much LOL but I call it as I see it. If they are fine, they are fine.
